I've been a bad blogger. Trying to make the rounds, but back when I took my break I told myself that I would only read blogs from my iPhone. That way, it was when I was waiting to get my hair cut, or waiting in the doctor's office, or waiting at the car service center (where I like to hang out every Tuesday) and would not be taking up my whole day.
Then my iPhone decided that it hates me. Which is so sad, because I really loved it.
I read your blogs, click the link to original post, TYPE MY COMMENT USING ONLY MY THUMBS, and then the darn phone freezes up on me and LOSES my comment AND Google Reader then resets so I lose the original post too!
It's a conspiracy!
But yesterday, I typed up a whole post using only my thumbs. And guess what.
RESET!
Lost the post.
iPhone hates me.

Maybe you should visit your PC for a certain time every day and let he iPhone rest. Conspiracies will always happen somewhere and hurt some people... quite possibly a blogger, why not...
ReplyDelete(the postcard is still waiting to be won)
You are not a bad blogger - have you seen my timing between posts lately?
ReplyDeleteIf it's longer than a short comment, I use the computer. I really don't like texting. In Poland, it seemed that this was the main way people communicated. I find it annoying. I usually just call people back when they text me. I have heard that you can write blogs on the iPhone, but why would you want to when you can use your other digits to type. I am waiting for a new condition for the overuse of thumbs to be defined by the medical community!
There is no way in heaven or hell that I could either respond to a post, or write a post using only my thumbs. It would drive me bananas within milliseconds.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry. We all go through these things. Blogging takes a lot of time, and often too much time.
I have such IPhone envy that I can't even respond in a loving manner. Maybe you should send it to me as punishment?
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I read this post off my Blackberry and had to wait until I could get WiFi on my laptop to post a comment! Well, my BB has never restarted on me like that ::Knock on wood::, instead some times it takes forever to think and I end up giving up before logging into Google Reader or before the post has fully loaded. Hopefully your iPhone comes around and starts showing you some lovin' (Cue that "Baby come back" song on those Swiffer commercials.)
ReplyDeleteI reckon you should download a different browser. If you like I'll do a bit of googling around to see what will work...
ReplyDeleteI wrote some posts on a teeny little computer and hated it - writign on a phone with my thumbs would drive me out of my mind. There are some things that were just meant for a regular computer.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Sounds like your iPhone is in need of an exorcist :-) Posting and commenting with thumbs only? I call that "Blogging Above and Beyond the Call of Duty". :-)
ReplyDeleteSometimes modern technology is not all its cracked up to be.
ReplyDeleteiphone! Hrmpph, I have a cheesey Samsung phone.
ReplyDeleteSorry you lost your post!!! I have trouble returning comments/blog reading myself. I am reading yours while making my son a spaceship out of playdoh. There is never enough time!!! :) tina
